Effective Stress Management
Because life involves constant change (ranging from changing locations from home to work each morning to adapting to major life changes like marriage, divorce, or death of a loved one), there is no avoiding stress. This is why your goal shouldn’t be to eliminate all stress, but to eliminate unnecessary stress and effectively manage the rest.
Richard Lazarus and Susan Folkman suggested in 1981 that stress can be thought of as resulting from an “imbalance between demands and resources” or as occurring when “pressure exceeds one’s perceived ability to cope”.
Watch this this one and a half minutes video, adapted from the presentation made by Mr. Bolaji Adepoju at the seminar organised by Delightsomelands on Saturday 30, June 2018 at Ogba, Lagos. The event, well attended, was captured by two media organisations, including MITV.
