Amygdala is the primitive fear and worry part of the brain.  It is the emotional data processing responding to stress when tension arise. Intensified  emotions activate the amygdala which in turn activates a fear response that shuts down logical reasoning. In our daily activities, we are always at the mercy of the Amygdala, that is  the more reason why we need knowledge and skills to handle the ‘ Terrible Amygdala”.
