Good parenting is mostly uncertain, complex and simple, because many factors other than the psychological influence of the parents affect the functioning of children as they grow and mature. In addition to genetics, children are influenced heavily by the education they receive, the peers they interact with, and the media messages they absorb, e.t.c.  The one trouble with having children is that they don’t come with a warranty.
